Sil vous plait vs por favor

Since the day spent at Versailles we were all exhausted at our first art class Monday morning.  I guess it wasn't a good idea that me and some of the other girls stayed up extra late talking!

We got up Monday morning and had to be at our classroom by 9:30 for art and architecture.  We met our professor and she is extremely passionate about French history as well as very blunt.  We only really spend an hour inside the classroom and the rest of the time is visiting different sights, museums and topics we are learning about.  However, on the streets she moves at a quick pace and probably wouldn't even wait for Napoleon if he were in my program.  She had us walking everywhere on Monday!  Is this going to count for my health education credits at PSU? Will my jean size at least decrease after this trip?  I don't know but regardless pass me on over another baguette sil vous plait (that means please...duhhh). We went to a cafe after class and it was pretty good but the waitress was pretty frustrated with our (when I say our I mean me) French.  Following lunch we went to some shops located on that street where a store owner called out to me "Heeey Miss California!"  Watch it buddy or I will show you that it is not the sunshine state. Going in and out of the stores is absolutely perfect for me!  I only tried on one dress because if not I might have bought everything I saw and loved, which was everything. Would someone mind putting my application in anywhere for when I return, McDonald's, Wendy's, BK Lounge, Philadelphia Zoo?

Tuesday I slept in!  I really miss my sleep.  Eventually I did have to drag myself out of bed and begin the readings for management class that day.  Management class is going well so far other than I don't participate that often.  The professor said, "Regina, what do you think?"  In my head I thought, "You know what do I think?"

The group is extremely intelligent and well-traveled.  However, have you seen my chateau at the Jersey Beach?  I went to The Franklin Institute in the fourth grade.  I live where the founding fathers wrote the um...constitution? (I know it was the constitution but I am not going to bother googling other information). I am just kidding but I really am impressed with everyone's intelligence and interest in learning more!

After class we went shopping, again.  I bought a red leather cropped jacked for 30 euros!  It was a great find and goes perfectly with my bag from Versailles! Last night we went back out for drinks at the Frog and the Princess and I took home a coaster with me!  We all had a nice time singing along to the American music and being all together!

Today we had art class once again and saw the ruins of Notre Dame.  We didn't go inside the Church but certainly will another day!  Following class we got some lunch and headed home.  We tried to go to the French Open but it was sold out, complete bummer!  So here I am writing and putting off reading the case study for tomorrow's management class.

We booked a trip to Barcelona for the weekend of June 16th, ah so excited! I am really looking forward to that!

Obviously today is the second anniversary for my dad.  I miss him every day but I know he would want me to be happy.  I wouldn't be here without him and I appreciate everything he has done for me and my family.  My dad's passing has helped me grow as a person and has created stronger bonds between my family and friends.  So here is to my dad and the great life he lead!
